About Volunteer Partnerships for West Africa
Volunteer Partnerships for West Africa (VPWA) is a youth-led, volunteer-driven NGO based in Ghana, dedicated to improving opportunities for people in underprivileged communities through enhanced education, health, sanitation, and sustainable development. The organization runs various projects that rely on global volunteer support and aligns with the principles of the UN Global Compact and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). VPWA has been recognized with the United Nations Volunteers Award in 2010 and 2011 and was granted consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in January 2022.
