Cenpower Generation Ltd is a Special Purpose Vehicle established to develop the Kpone Independent Power Plant (KIPP) in Ghana's Tema industrial zone. The KIPP, which commenced commercial operations in June 2019, is one of the largest Independent Power Producers (IPPs) in the country, contributing approximately 10% of Ghana's total installed capacity and 15% of its available thermal generation capacity. As a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) plant, it is recognized for its fuel efficiency and plays a vital role in meeting the growing electricity demand in Ghana.
