About GIGI FISHERIES
GIGI FISHERIES is part of the Fisheries Committee for the West Central Gulf of Guinea (FCWC), a regional organization established in 2007 to facilitate cooperation in fisheries management among six West African countries: Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Liberia, Nigeria, and Togo. The FCWC focuses on sustainable fisheries and shared prosperity, addressing the management of shared fish stocks and promoting regional cooperation. Through various projects and initiatives, GIGI FISHERIES supports sustainable fisheries practices and enhances governance in the region.
