About Farmers Organization Network Ghana(FONG)
Farmers Organization Network in Ghana (FONG) is a registered network of small-scale farmer and fisher-based organizations established in September 2003. FONG aims to empower individuals and members to contribute to agricultural development through core activities such as lobbying and advocacy, financial services, capacity building, and implementing gender strategies. The organization has previously engaged in initiatives focused on women empowerment and has conducted workshops addressing various agricultural policies and practices in Ghana and West Africa.
