About Engineering Council
The Engineering Council serves as the regulatory body for engineering in Ghana, ensuring the highest standards of practice under the Engineering Council Act, 2011 (Act 819) and LI 2410 (2020). Its mandate includes licensing engineering professionals, firms, and educational units, while enforcing compliance to uphold safety, ethics, and excellence in the field. The Council also monitors and evaluates the performance of practitioners and firms to safeguard public interest and promote ethical engineering practices.
