About Alliance For African Women Initiative (AFAWI)
The Alliance for African Women Initiative (AFAWI) is a grassroots organization based in Ghana, dedicated to narrowing the gender gap and empowering women and children for over ten years. AFAWI focuses on sustainable development through various projects, including the Livelihood Project, which supports impoverished women in starting or growing their businesses, and the ECCACHILD Project, which assists marginalized children with education and healthcare needs. Additionally, AFAWI promotes gender equality in schools through the Empowering Girls project and conducts health outreach initiatives in underserved communities.
