About Africa Transitional Justice Legacy Fund
The Africa Transitional Justice Legacy Fund (ATJLF) was established in 2019 to support transformative and pioneering interventions in transitional justice processes across Africa. Focusing on community-based, survivor-led projects, ATJLF operates in countries including Cote D’Ivoire, The Gambia, Guinea, Liberia, Mali, North-eastern Nigeria, and Sierra Leone. The organization empowers local partners to pursue truth, justice, and accountability, and collaborates with regional bodies like the African Union to implement the African Union Transitional Justice Policy Framework. Currently, ATJLF is in its Legacy Phase, which will conclude in December 2026.
